The series was initially announced as a collaboration between Glover and Phoebe Waller-Bridge, who later parted ways during development.
The series will consist of eight episodes, all of which will be released at once for binge-watching.
The original 'Mr. & Mrs. Smith' movie, starring Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, is also available to rent on Prime Video.
