MPA Appoints Former FBI Leader to Combat Global Piracy

Larissa Knapp, with 27 years at the FBI, will enhance the Motion Picture Association's anti-piracy efforts.

Knapp will serve as executive vice president and chief content protection officer for the MPA.
She will lead the Alliance for Creativity and Entertainment, the world's top anti-piracy organization.
Knapp's extensive FBI experience includes managing the National Security Branch and handling intellectual property crimes.
She aims to deepen ACE's partnerships with global law enforcement and expand its operational reach.
Knapp will report to Karyn Temple and be based in Washington, D.C.
