Overview

• On August 9 in Indore, Additional DCP Amrendra Singh’s unit arrested Ameen Khan and Golu alias Syed and seized about 12.7 g of MD methamphetamine valued at roughly ₹1.3 lakh.
• SI Suraj Randhawa’s team detained Sheetal and Kundan Kuchbandiya near Sabzi Mandi, Govindpura on August 8 and recovered 10 kg of marijuana worth about ₹3 lakh.
• In a separate August 8 operation in Indore, police apprehended Riyaz Khan and Sayed Rehan with approximately 11 g of MD drugs valued at ₹1.1 lakh.
• The 2025 campaign has yielded 63 arrests to date and overall seizures of 235 kg of marijuana, 45.68 g of MD drugs, 48.39 g of smack and 1.96 g of LSD.
• Investigations continue under the NDPS Act as crime branch teams work to trace broader narcotics supply networks beyond street-level peddlers.
