  • On February 13 outside St Pancras station, Aid snatched a Goyard carry-on from Brittny Button as she and former F1 champion Jenson Button loaded luggage after a Paris getaway.
  • The stolen case held roughly £250,000 in jewellery and designer handbags, including two Hermès Kelly bags valued at about £70,000 and family heirlooms meant for their daughter.
  • British Transport Police traced Aid via CCTV and arrested him in Hatton Garden on February 17, four days after the incident.
  • At er LonLondon Crown Court on May 30, Aid was sentenced to three years and four months in prison, with automatic deportation to Algeria to follow.
  • None of the jewellery or luxury bags has been recovered, prolonging the Buttons’ distress over the loss of both sentimental and valuable items.
