Motorola Launches 2026 Moto G and G Play in North America as G67 Power Debuts in India

Motorola is leaning on large batteries and region-specific hardware to fuel a value-focused holiday push.

  • The Moto G (2026) and Moto G Play (2026) are official with U.S. prices of $199.99 and $169.99, with retail dates set for December 11 and November 13 respectively; both also arrive in Canada on those same dates via Motorola.
  • The Moto G (2026) features a MediaTek Dimensity 6300, a 6.7-inch 120Hz display, a 50MP main camera with a 32MP selfie, 30W wired charging, IP52, Gorilla Glass 3, and ships with Android 16.
  • The Moto G Play (2026) keeps the same screen and chipset but steps down to a 32MP rear camera, 8MP selfie camera, and 18W charging, and is the first Play model with 5G support.
  • Motorola says the 5,200 mAh batteries in both North American models can last up to two days, and it promises two OS upgrades and three years of security updates.
  • In India, the Moto G67 Power 5G launches with a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2, a 7,000 mAh battery with 30W charging, a 50MP Sony LYT-600 camera, Gorilla Glass 7i, MIL‑STD‑810H and IP64, priced at Rs 15,999 for 8GB/128GB and on sale November 12 via Flipkart, Motorola India, and retail stores.
