Motorcyclist in His 60s Airlifted After Three-Vehicle Crash Near Northallerton

Overview

• The collision happened shortly after 1:15pm on Friday, October 24, on Dolly Lane in Yafforth near Northallerton Equestrian Centre.
• It involved a red Suzuki SV1000 motorcycle, a silver Ford Transit panel van and a silver Land Rover Discovery, with the Transit and bike heading away from Yafforth and the Land Rover in the opposite direction away from the A684.
• The rider suffered serious injuries and was airlifted to James Cook University Hospital in Middlesbrough.
• North Yorkshire Police report the other drivers are assisting the investigation and urge witnesses to email [email protected] or [email protected], or call 101 quoting reference 12250201193.
• Dolly Lane was closed for collision investigation and vehicle recovery until around 8:30pm.
