  • The crash occurred at 8.48 pm on June 30 when a man in his 50s fell from his motorcycle on Banbury Road between Southam and Ladbroke.
  • West Midlands Ambulance Service sent an ambulance crew, two paramedic officers and the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance to administer advanced life support.
  • Despite medics’ efforts the rider was pronounced dead at the scene and his next of kin have been informed.
  • Warwickshire Police cordoned off the A423 during the emergency response and have since reopened the road.
  • A formal collision investigation is under way and officers are urging anyone who witnessed the crash or holds dashcam footage to contact police.
