Overview

• A motorcycle rear-ended a ute on the northbound Gore Hill Freeway at Naremburn near Willoughby Rd just before 10.30am on June 18.
• The rider was treated by paramedics at the scene but later died from injuries sustained in the crash.
• He has not yet been formally identified.
• All northbound lanes between Brook St and Reserve Rd were closed for several hours before partial reopening, with traffic crews and a rescue helicopter at the scene.
• Police will prepare a report for the Coroner as part of their investigation into the collision.
