MotoGP Provisional 2026 Calendar Features Brazil Comeback, Drops Indian Grand Prix

Overview

  • MotoGP has unveiled a provisional 22-round 2026 calendar with the Brazilian Grand Prix returning at Goiania on March 20–22 after a 22-year absence.
  • Buriram in Thailand remains the season opener on February 27–March 1, securing its spot through the end of the current regulations cycle.
  • The Indian Grand Prix at the Buddh International Circuit has been excluded despite prior multi-year agreements with local authorities.
  • European rounds are realigned to streamline logistics, highlighted by Silverstone’s shift to early August and Brno and Balaton Park moving to June.
  • The Aragon Grand Prix is retained as a standalone late-August event and Argentina is slated to rejoin in 2027 following Autodromo Oscar y Juan Galvez renovations.
