Motion Seeks to Revoke Eliot Cutler’s Probation Over Alleged Escort Site, Device Violations

The case proceeds on a revocation motion with no new criminal counts.

  • An affidavit states that on Sept. 8 Cutler visited a San Francisco–area massage parlor website and answered escort preference questions, coinciding with a travel permit request to California.
  • The filing also alleges that on Oct. 2 he connected to the internet using an external USB drive and two unmonitored cellphones, which the Maine State Computer Crimes Unit later reported had been reset.
  • Cutler pleaded guilty in May 2023 to possession of child sexual abuse material, received a four-year sentence with all but nine months suspended and six years of probation, and was released early in January 2024.
