• Becca Farley’s room at the Magical Tropical Splash Hotel in Benidorm was entered by two teenagers after she’d propped the door open with a shoe on her family’s final night.
• Farley confronted the intruders, who fled but returned minutes later to bang on the door, leaving her too petrified to sleep.
• Hotel security confirmed a separate break-in in which another family had passports, watches and other valuables stolen.
• Farley, who spent £2,500 on the week-long holiday, says the ordeal won’t stop her travelling but will prompt stricter safety measures.
