Mother Pleads Guilty to Manslaughter of Seven-Year-Old Son in Pembrokeshire

Papaipit Linse admitted to killing her son, Louis Linse, on grounds of diminished responsibility and will be sentenced on December 13.

Papaipit Linse, 43, pleaded guilty to manslaughter but denied murder at Swansea Crown Court in connection with the death of her seven-year-old son, Louis Linse.
The prosecution accepted the manslaughter plea on the grounds of diminished responsibility, citing psychiatric evaluations of Linse's mental health condition.
Police were called to the family home on Upper Market Street in Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire, on January 10, where Louis was later pronounced dead at Withybush General Hospital.
Linse is currently receiving psychiatric treatment at the Caswell Clinic, a medium secure mental health unit in Bridgend, while awaiting sentencing.
Judge Paul Thomas described the case as 'sensitive and tragic' and set the sentencing date for December 13.
