Mother of Stillborn Baby Found in Leeds Pub Toilet Identified

Police have identified the mother of a newborn baby girl found dead in a pub toilet in Leeds, and she is now receiving medical care and support.
The baby was found in a bathroom cubicle at the Three Horseshoes in Oulton, just before 5pm on Sunday.
Detective Chief Inspector James Entwistle said it is believed the baby was stillborn and that this is a safeguarding inquiry, not a criminal one.
Authorities had issued an urgent appeal to locate the mother, stressing that her welfare and safety is a priority.
The pub remained closed on the day following the discovery but planned to reopen the next day.
