Mother of Late BRS MLA Files Complaint as Hyderabad Police Open Preliminary Probe

Police in Hyderabad opened a preliminary inquiry after receiving the 92-year-old mother's complaint with medical records.

  • Gopinath was admitted on June 5 to AIG Hospital in Gachibowli for renal complications and was declared dead on June 8, after which the family pressed for a transparent investigation the Chief Minister had said would follow a formal complaint.
