Mother of Georgia School Shooter Indicted on Elder Abuse Charges

Marcee Gray, mother of Apalachee High School shooter Colt Gray, faces multiple charges for taping her elderly mother to a chair in a separate incident.

Marcee Gray, 43, is accused of taping her 74-year-old mother, Deborah Polhamus, to a chair for nearly 24 hours in November 2023.
Gray has been indicted on charges including exploitation and intimidation of an elderly person, false imprisonment, criminal damage to property, and theft.
The incident occurred after Polhamus refused to accompany Gray to confront her ex-husband, Colin Gray, Colt's father.
Colt Gray, 14, is charged with the murder of two teachers and two students at Apalachee High School on September 4, 2024.
Colt's father, Colin Gray, faces charges of involuntary manslaughter and child cruelty for allegedly providing the weapon used in the school shooting.
