The teacher who was shot, Abby Zwerner, has filed a $40 million lawsuit against the school district alleging they were negligent.
The 6-year-old boy will not face criminal charges for the shooting.
Taylor already faces state charges of felony child neglect and recklessly leaving a loaded gun accessible to a child.
