Mother Charged with Murder in 2021 'Drowning' Case

Queensland Police allege the 4-year-old child died before entering the pool, contradicting initial reports.

  • An Australian woman has been arrested and charged with murder, two years after the death of a 4-year-old child initially reported as a drowning.
  • The child, Tarrin-Macen O’Sullivan, was found dead in a disused pool in Munbura, Queensland in August 2021.
  • Following a two-year investigation, Queensland Police now allege that the child died before entering the pool.
  • The woman, who is the mother of the child, was the only one home at the time of the incident.
