Mother Charged with Manslaughter of Four Sons in London House Fire

Deveca Rose, 29, faces additional charges of child abandonment, with a plea and trial preparation hearing scheduled for January 8.

Deveca Rose, a 29-year-old mother from Sutton, south London, has been charged with four counts of manslaughter and child abandonment following the death of her four sons in a house fire in December 2021.
The victims were two sets of twins, Leyton and Logan Hoath, aged three, and Kyson and Bryson Hoath, aged four.
The children were removed from the house by firefighters during the 'intense blaze' and given CPR, but were pronounced dead at the hospital.
Rose has been granted conditional bail and is due to attend a plea and trial preparation hearing at the Old Bailey on January 8.
According to neighbors, Rose was out shopping when the fire was discovered.
