Mother and Daughter Arrested After Violent Knife Attack in Frankfurt

A long-standing dispute escalated into a brutal assault on a busy street, leaving a 49-year-old woman severely injured.

The attack occurred on Tuesday afternoon, March 18, 2025, on Berger Straße, one of Frankfurt's busiest streets.
A 44-year-old mother repeatedly stabbed the victim with a kitchen knife while her 19-year-old daughter restrained the woman.
The attackers, both Czech nationals, were arrested near the scene and are now in pre-trial detention.
The victim sustained severe injuries to her upper body, neck, and face and is recovering in the hospital.
