Most Russian Airport Curbs Lifted After Brief Safety Measures, With New Limits at Tambov

The regulator described the localized restrictions as precautionary steps to ensure flight safety.

  • Operations at the previously affected airports were reported as normal after the restrictions were removed, based on official statements relayed by RIA Novosti.
  • Later on Oct. 7, Rosaviatsia introduced new temporary restrictions at Tambov’s Donskoye Airport, citing flight safety.
