• Rosaviatsia imposed temporary limits on arrivals and departures at Volgograd, Kaluga, Nizhny Novgorod, Yaroslavl, Sochi and Gelendzhik before lifting them within hours via updates on its Telegram channel.
• Sochi reported 21 delayed departures and said 10 flights diverted to alternate airfields during the restrictions, while the agency later cited 12 diversions for flights bound there.
• Yaroslavl’s airport saw one aircraft divert during its brief restriction period, according to Rosaviatsia spokesperson Artem Korenyako.
• Operations at the previously affected airports were reported as normal after the restrictions were removed, based on official statements relayed by RIA Novosti.
• Later on Oct. 7, Rosaviatsia introduced new temporary restrictions at Tambov’s Donskoye Airport, citing flight safety.
