A Telegram channel reported the incident occurred at a private plastic surgery clinic on Skatertny Pereulok in central Moscow.
According to the channel, the 50-year-old woman underwent breast reduction and abdominal correction on Saturday.
She reportedly became unwell on Sunday morning after the operations, and doctors were unable to save her.
The preliminary cause was described by the channel as aspiration, but authorities have not confirmed an official cause of death.
