Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection Preorders Go Live with Trilogy and Cartridge Release on Switch 2

Three physical editions featuring steelbook, Goro controller holder, specialty extras will ship December 12 on multiple platforms.

Overview

  • Standard, Deluxe and Kollector’s Editions are now available to preorder through Atari’s online store, Amazon and Limited Run Games.
  • All physical editions span PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Switch, Switch 2 and PC, with the Switch 2 version delivered fully on cartridge.
  • Mortal Kombat Trilogy joins the Legacy Kollection, and Evo 2025 attendees can play the restored 1996 fighter at Atari’s booth through August 3.
  • Deluxe Edition offers a steelbook case, magnet, poster, lenticular card, arcade flyers and cabinet cards, while Kollector’s Edition adds premium collectibles in a numbered box.
  • A digital release date has yet to be announced even as the collection promises extensive archival content including developer interviews, interactive timelines and easy access to hidden game features.
