'Mortal Kombat 2' Secures October 2025 Release Date

The sequel to the 2021 hit will feature IMAX screenings and introduce new characters from the iconic video game series.

Directed by Simon McQuoid, with a script by Jeremy Slater, known for 'Moon Knight'.
Karl Urban joins the cast as Johnny Cage, alongside returning actors Lewis Tan and Hiroyuki Sanada.
The first film earned $84 million worldwide, prompting Warner Bros. to greenlight the sequel.
Filming has wrapped, but extensive post-production work is still ahead.
Warner Bros. announced several other release dates, including 'Companion' and 'Weapons'.
