Mortal Kombat 2 Completes Filming

Producer Todd Garner and cast celebrate end of filming, warn fans to expect a wait for trailers and other promotional materials.

Filming for the sequel to the Mortal Kombat movie, Mortal Kombat 2, has officially wrapped up after facing delays due to the 2023 SAG-AFTRA strike.
Producer Todd Garner and several cast members, including Lewis Tan and Max Huang, celebrated the end of filming with posts on social media.
Garner has warned fans that it will be some time before any trailers or other promotional materials for the movie are released.
The sequel will see the return of many cast members from the first movie, as well as new additions such as Tati Gabrielle, Adeline Rudolph, Martyn Ford, and Karl Urban.
The release date for Mortal Kombat 2 is still unconfirmed.
