- National Rail says multiple incidents at Manchester Oxford Road caused congestion, disrupting all lines with cancellations and delays of up to 30 minutes.
- Disruption is expected to continue through the morning, with National Rail's estimate running until about 11:30am.
- Services on East Midlands Railway, Northern, TransPennine Express and Transport for Wales are affected on routes linking Liverpool Lime Street, Southport, Warrington Central, Buckshaw Parkway, Manchester Airport, Cleethorpes, Leeds, Holyhead and Llandudno Junction.
- Tickets are being accepted at no extra cost on TransPennine Express and Transport for Wales between Manchester Piccadilly and Manchester Airport until 11:00.
- If a booked train is cancelled, passengers may use Northern, TransPennine Express or LNER within two hours of the original time, and Northern has lifted Advance and peak restrictions in the affected areas.
