Morning Crash on Pista de Silla Triggers 10-Kilometer Queue Toward València

Peak-hour access into the city slowed sharply after a crash near Sedaví, with a Metrovalencia fault adding delays for rail commuters.

Overview

  • Levante-EMV reported congestion stretching from Silla to Sedaví, with the worst delays around Beniparrell.
  • Knock-on slowdowns affected multiple approaches, including heavy traffic on the V-30 near Mislata and on the A-3 and A-7 at key junctions.
  • Additional bottlenecks were noted on the V-36 from Picanya and on the V-21 entering València.
  • Metrovalencia said on X that an incident involving one of its trains caused delays on lines L1, L2 and L7 during the morning rush.
  • The morning disruption followed Sunday crashes on the A-7 at Benifaió and the A-3 at Requena, where DGT reported a right-lane closure before traffic later normalized.
