Overview

  • Morikawa has tapped Mark Urbanek, Tony Finau’s former looper, as his fifth caddie of the 2025 season.
  • He split with J.J. Jakovac in May saying he “needed a vibe shift” and has since worked with Joe Greiner, K.K. Limbhasut and Billy Foster before adding Urbanek.
  • The 28-year-old’s campaign has featured a runner-up finish at the Genesis Invitational and multiple Top-10s alongside missed cuts at the U.S. Open and The Open Championship.
  • He begins the FedEx Cup playoffs ranked 19th with 1,427 points and must stay inside the top 50 to keep his postseason bid alive.
  • His six-year collaboration with Jakovac delivered five PGA Tour wins and two majors and Morikawa is seeking similar stability with Urbanek.
