Morgan Wallen Cancels Six Weeks of Shows to Recover from Vocal Cord Injury and Torn Muscle

Morgan Wallen has postponed his next six weeks of tour dates and a scheduled appearance on the Academy of Country Music Awards telecast due to vocal rest ordered by doctors.
Wallen had already canceled some dates but returned to the road for three shows this past weekend, which he said felt ruinous and precipitated a return to the doctor.
Wallen re-injured his vocal chords and has vocal fold trauma, and his doctors advised him to go on vocal rest for six weeks.
Wallen also tore his lat while in Australia, and he will use this time off to recover from both injuries.
Wallen is working on rescheduling all the dates during this time frame, and new dates will be announced "imminently."
