Overview
- Municipal officials scheduled the official switch-on for Monday, Sept. 1, with the display running through Sept. 30.
- Crews are finishing installations across central corridors, including Avenida Madero and Centro Histórico facades between Guillermo Prieto and Ignacio Zaragoza.
- The rollout features about 250 elements such as pasacalles, rehiletes, flags and luminaires placed in strategic spots.
- Key sites include Plaza Villalongín, Plaza de Armas Melchor Ocampo, Boulevard García de León, Calzada Fray Antonio de San Miguel and the Cerrada San Agustín.
- The Cathedral and the Aqueduct will receive tricolor scenic illumination, according to Public Services Secretary Netzahualcóyotl Vázquez Vargas.
