Overview

• The Government of Morelia, through SeCultura, invited the public to the Semana del Cine de la Comisión Fílmica de Morelia scheduled for August 25–29.
• The program is coordinated with Muestra 5C to promote training and professionalization for the film industry and emerging creators.
• For the first time, the city will screen Kenya Márquez’s film Asfixia inside the Centro Penitenciario “Lic. David Franco Rodríguez.”
• The penitentiary screening includes a conversation with the director addressing gender-based violence, resilience, and social reintegration.
