  • Massachusetts State Police received calls just after 2 p.m. Saturday about bicycles, electric scooters and dirt bikes entering the O’Neill Tunnel on I-93.
  • Bystander video showed riders weaving through traffic without helmets and halting vehicles on the highway.
  • A dirt bike collided with a State Police cruiser before the rider fled on foot, according to local reports.
  • Adam Harrison, 22, was arrested at the scene, pleaded not guilty to disorderly conduct and resisting arrest, and is due back in court on Sept. 30.
  • Harrison has denied riding in the tunnel, and outlets noted that Mayor Michelle Wu and State Police did not immediately comment; Townhall reported police also used helicopters to track the group.
