Overview

• Hussain served as a key Hizbul Mujahideen operative linked to plots targeting religious sites and public areas in Moradabad
• Permanent warrants were issued against him in 2015 and again in early 2025 after he absconded following bail in 2008
• Officers arrested him on March 8 in Poonch and recovered rifles, pistols, hand grenades and explosive materials during the operation
