Moorer, Hatton, Calderon, Corrales Elected to International Boxing Hall of Fame
The 2024 class, voted in by the Boxing Writers Association of America and international boxing historians, will be enshrined in ceremonies from June 6-9.
- Michael Moorer, Ricky Hatton, Ivan Calderon, and Diego 'Chico' Corrales have been elected to the 2024 class of the International Boxing Hall of Fame.
- Moorer was the first southpaw heavyweight champion, Hatton held a 45-3 record, Calderon represented Puerto Rico in the 2000 Olympics, and Corrales is remembered for his 2005 victory over José Luis Castillo.
- The 13-member class was voted in by members of the Boxing Writers Association of America and a panel of international boxing historians.
- The enshrinement ceremonies will take place from June 6-9, 2024.
- Other inductees include British champion Jane Couch, Ana Maria Torres of Mexico, Luis Angel Firpo, Theresa Kibby, and notable figures from the boxing industry.
