Mookie Betts of the Los Angeles Dodgers has been awarded his sixth Silver Slugger award, recognizing him as one of the top offensive players in the league. Despite his smaller physique compared to other sluggers, Betts hit 39 home runs, drove in 107 runs, and finished with an offensive line of .307/.408, .579/.987 in the 2023 season.
The Texas Rangers and Atlanta Braves have won the inaugural team awards for their outstanding offensive performance in 2023. These teams led their leagues in key statistics including runs, hits, home runs, RBIs, batting average, slugging percentage, and OPS.
