Monty Don Debuts Dog-Friendly Garden at Chelsea Flower Show

The beloved gardening expert will showcase a canine-focused garden, highlighting the bond between dogs and garden enthusiasts.

Monty Don, known for his work on BBC's Gardeners’ World, is designing his first garden for the Chelsea Flower Show, emphasizing a dog-friendly environment.
The garden will feature a manicured lawn and a large tree, providing space for dogs to play and rest, along with a tribute to Don's late dogs.
Organized by the Royal Horticultural Society and BBC Radio 2, the garden will include brick paths inscribed with the names of famous dogs.
After the show, the garden will be relocated to Battersea Dogs and Cats Home, where it will continue to serve as a space for rescue dogs.
A special dog-themed playlist, curated by Radio 2’s Jo Whiley, will accompany the garden, celebrating the connection between gardening and canine companionship.
