Overview
- Police identified the victims as 67-year-old Earnest Stone and 32-year-old Trey Jiles in separate incidents.
- Stone was found with fatal gunshot injuries around 7:41 p.m. on Jan. 26 on East Sixth Street near West Street in the Mulberry and Carter Hill area.
- Jiles was discovered shot around 3:25 a.m. on Jan. 24 near St. James Street and Seay Street and was pronounced dead at the scene.
- Investigators say both cases remain active with no suspect information or motive released to the public.
