Monterrey Conducts Overnight Maintenance Operation on Avenida Revolución Ahead of 2026 World Cup

Officials frame the cleanup as part of a citywide push to present a dignified image and call on residents to help keep corridors orderly.

  • Municipal crews carried out a pre-dawn, integrated operation on Avenida Revolución between Morones Prieto and Constitución to improve cleanliness and order.

  • Separately, the 'Barrio de mi Corazón' macro-brigade in Fomerrey 45–La Estanzuela reported 9 tons of rubble and 3.5 tons of bulky items removed, 2.4 km of streets swept, 1,200 m² of weeding, 800 m² of court painting, and attention to 112 potholes.
  • On Friday, the city led a decluttering effort in Burócratas Federales, with officials noting more than 70 similar operations to date that have collected over 650 tons of waste and continued follow-up on local service requests.
