• Netflix released the first full trailer for the third season of Ryan Murphy and Ian Brennan’s Monster, with all episodes set to stream on Oct. 3.
• Charlie Hunnam, who plays Ed Gein, said he came to see “the human in him,” calling Gein “one of the more gentle monsters” in new comments.
• The season depicts Gein’s grave robberies and confessed murders in rural Wisconsin and examines his influence on horror staples such as Psycho and The Texas Chain Saw Massacre.
• Laurie Metcalf portrays Augusta Gein, with Tom Hollander as Alfred Hitchcock and Suzanna Son, Vicky Krieps, Olivia Williams, Lesley Manville, Addison Rae and others in the ensemble.
