Overview

  • The collaboration was unveiled at Gamescom Opening Night Live 2025 by Naoki Yoshida and Ryozo Tsujimoto.
  • Monster Hunter Wilds will add Chocobo-themed Seikret cosmetics, a Cactuar cameo, and a hunt against Omega Planetes in Title Update 3 slated for late September.
  • Final Fantasy XIV will introduce a Seikret mount, an Arkveld trial encounter, and a Palico-style minion in an event beginning in early October.
  • Square Enix specifies that access to the FFXIV content requires completion of the Dawntrail main scenario and a level 100 character.
  • Capcom and Square Enix describe the event as a two-way content swap, with exact launch dates to be announced in the coming weeks.
