Monster Hunter Wilds Second Open Beta Launches This Week with New Features and Rewards
Capcom's upcoming action RPG expands its beta access to all platforms, adding new monsters, private lobbies, and more ahead of its full release.
- The second Monster Hunter Wilds open beta will run across two weekends: February 6–9 and February 13–16, with preloading available starting February 6.
- Unlike the first beta, this test is open to all players on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, without requiring a subscription or pre-order.
- New content includes hunts for two additional monsters, Arkveld and Gypceros, a weapons training area, private multiplayer lobbies, and an Online Single Player mode with a pause feature.
- Participants can earn exclusive rewards for the full game, including a cosmetic item and an item pack with in-game materials, by creating a character during the beta.
- Character creation data from the beta can be carried over to the full game, but other progress, such as quests and inventory, will not transfer.
