Monster Hunter Wilds Schedules Second Open Beta for February

Capcom's upcoming action-RPG will offer two beta weekends, introducing a returning monster but excluding key improvements from the final release.

The second beta for Monster Hunter Wilds will run from February 6-9 and February 13-16, 2025, on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, with crossplay enabled.
Players will encounter Gypceros, a returning monster from the series, alongside content from the first beta, including character creation and the Doshaguma quest.
Participants will earn in-game rewards for the full release, such as a decorative pendant and an item pack containing traps, bombs, and other hunting tools.
While Capcom has acknowledged player feedback and promised improvements to performance, weapon mechanics, and game balance, these changes will not be reflected in the second beta build.
Monster Hunter Wilds is set to launch on February 28, 2025, with character creation data from the beta transferable to the full game, though progress will not carry over.
