Overview

  • All major reservoirs hold 676.95 TMC feet, rising to 67.3% of capacity from just 27% a year ago.
  • Srisailam reservoir is at 209.16 TMC feet (96.92%) with 117,000 cusecs of outflow and Nagarjunasagar holds 261.59 TMC feet (83.83%) releasing over 7,500 cusecs.
  • Tungabhadra is maintained at 78 TMC feet and discharging 38,760 cusecs into the High Level Main Canal and Low Level Canal.
  • Handri Neeva Sujala Sravanthi project began receiving Krishna water after Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu inaugurated Phase I deliveries to Rayalaseema.
  • Telangana officials allege Andhra Pradesh’s drawals at the Pothireddypadu regulator are diverting flood inflows and limiting water entering their downstream reservoirs.
