  • Deputy commissioners in Dharwad, Uttara Kannada, Chikkamagaluru, Belagavi, Hassan, Bidar and Kodagu ordered Tuesday holidays for anganwadis, schools and pre-university colleges in several taluks.

  • Authorities reported localized damage, including seven houses destroyed and three partially damaged in Uttara Kannada and tank breaches in Bidar’s Aurad and Kamalnagar that flooded farmland and damaged small bridges.
