Monique Olivier Taken to Site in 1993 Disappearance of Lydie Logé

Investigators hope Olivier’s recollections will help locate Logé’s remains, over 30 years after her disappearance in Saint-Christophe-le-Jajolet, Orne.

Monique Olivier, ex-wife of deceased serial killer Michel Fourniret, was transported to Saint-Christophe-le-Jajolet to assist in the search for Lydie Logé’s body.
Lydie Logé, a 29-year-old mother, disappeared in December 1993 after returning home from Christmas shopping in the small Orne village.
Olivier has admitted to complicity in the crime and confirmed Fourniret’s claim that he attempted to assault and then strangled Logé before hiding her body.
The investigation, previously closed with no resolution, was reopened in 2018 after DNA evidence linked Fourniret to the case.
Logé’s family and investigators aim to recover her remains to provide a proper burial and closure after decades of uncertainty.
