• Monica Barbaro officially joins the cast to portray OpenAI chief technology officer Mira Murati.
• Oscar nominee Andrew Garfield leads the ensemble as CEO Sam Altman, joined by Yura Borisov, Jason Schwartzman, Cooper Hoffman and Cooper Koch, with Ike Barinholtz in talks to join.
• The film is set as a comedic drama reenacting OpenAI’s 2023 boardroom upheaval when Sam Altman was briefly fired and reinstated.
• Simon Rich wrote the screenplay and will produce alongside Heyday Films’ David Heyman, Jeffrey Clifford and Jennifer Fox under Amazon MGM Studios.
