Overview

  • Mondelez Global LLC initiated the recall on July 8 in coordination with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and is implementing corrective actions to prevent future packaging errors
  • The recall covers 8-pack, 20-pack and 40-pack Ritz Peanut Butter Cracker Sandwich cartons along with the 20-pack Filled Cracker Sandwich Variety Pack sold nationwide
  • Although all outer cartons carry correct peanut allergen warnings, some individually wrapped packs inside may be labeled as cheese and lack a peanut advisory
  • No injuries or allergic reactions have been reported to date in connection with the affected products
  • Consumers with peanut allergies are advised to discard any recalled cartons and contact Mondelēz customer service for further assistance
