The Monaco royal family released their 2024 Christmas card featuring Prince Albert, Princess Charlene, and their twins, Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella, on December 2 via Instagram.
This year’s photo, taken by Éric Mathon, showcases a casual living room setting with the family dressed in neutral-toned sweaters and trousers, a significant shift from last year’s formal attire of tuxedos and gowns.
The card’s backdrop includes a Christmas tree, garland, candles, and a fireplace, reflecting a minimalist and rustic holiday theme.
The release coincides with the royal family’s participation in Monaco’s holiday traditions, including the illumination of Christmas lights and a visit to admire festive decorations at the Place du Casino.
Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella, who turn 10 on December 10, were described by Princess Charlene in a recent interview as curious and complementary in their personalities, with Jacques being calm and observant and Gabriella being outgoing and inquisitive.
