Molly Parker to Star in Fox's 'Doc', Adaptation of Italian Medical Drama

Parker's character, Dr. Amy Elias, must navigate life and her medical practice after a brain injury erases eight years of her memory.

Molly Parker has been cast as the lead in Fox's new medical drama series 'Doc', an adaptation of the popular Italian series 'Doc — Nelle tue mani'.
Parker will play Dr. Amy Elias, Chief of Internal and Family Medicine at Westside Hospital in Minneapolis, who suffers a brain injury that erases the last eight years of her life.
The series will explore Dr. Elias's struggle to continue practicing medicine and navigate her personal life with no recollection of the past eight years.
Originally scheduled for the 2023-24 season, the series will now debut during the 2024-25 season due to the impact of the Hollywood strikes on production.
Parker is known for her roles in 'House of Cards', 'Lost in Space', and 'Peter Pan & Wendy', and will next be seen starring opposite Halle Berry in the Netflix film 'The Mothership'.
