MOIL Sets New July Production Record as Early FY2026 Output Climbs

Production, sales, drilling surged in the first four months, contrasted by plunging revenues, profits in the April-June quarter

Overview

  • MOIL produced 1.45 lakh tonnes of manganese ore in July 2025, a 12 percent increase over last year despite heavy rainfall
  • April–July output reached 6.47 lakh tonnes, sales hit 5.01 lakh tonnes and exploratory drilling totaled 43,215 meters, up 7.8 percent, 10.7 percent and 11.4 percent respectively
  • June 2025 delivered a record monthly production of 1.68 lakh tonnes, marking a 2 percent year-on-year rise
  • Q1 FY2025-26 exploratory core drilling amounted to 34,900 meters, the strongest first-quarter performance with a 16.2 percent gain
  • In the April–June quarter, total income declined 28.7 percent to Rs 370.53 crore and net profit fell 66 percent to Rs 51.51 crore
