Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp defended Salah's decision to return to the UK for treatment, stating that both Liverpool and Egypt share the same interest in getting Salah fit as quickly as possible.
Klopp also stated that if Salah recovers in time and Egypt reaches the AFCON final, Salah will return to play.
